    BIO: Hugh Plappert

Hugh Plappert started his IT career in High School by training his teachers on the school's first computers in 1980. His commercial career spans over 24 years with many Fortune 500 companies.

He specializes in marketing database applications and projects. He has saved one corporation over $40 million a year and completed the project in 40 hours. Most of his hourly consulting assignments are completed in less than 1/6 of the allocated time.

He has built a CRM database for that is being used by Christian Colleges across the nation called, Fishing for Men. Hugh's database was discovered by a college recruitment consultant, Clark Dickerson, who recommends it today to Bible colleges.

He has worked with both large (over 40 million records) and small systems. Four systems built by Hugh Plappert have been in production 12 years without any changes or upgrades.

Hugh Plappert made the presentation Completing the Marketing Technology Puzzle to the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities' 2010 Technology Conference held at Bethel University in St. Paul, MN. He presented the challenges small Christian Colleges have in recruiting new students and how this impacts their Information Technology projects.

He was featured as an exemplary consultant in a RobertHalf Technology newsletter in 2005. He was recognized as the Consultant of the Year in 2003 by Technisource. He received 2nd place in the nation for the best Paradox database training curriculum.
